  • Why would I need a coach?
We can see in ourselves what others may see or hear in us. A coach helps to reflect and mirror what they see in their clients.
  • Are our meetings confidential?
    Absolutely! 100% confidential.
  • What can I expect in our sessions?
Being heard, receiving new pieces of knowledge and skill building, feeling empowered by hearing your own strengths.
  • How often would we meet?
That would depend on you. You are the driver of your journey. We would explore what that would look like together. After a brief consult, it may become clearer to you how you want to begin. Most clients start with a 5 session package and continue from there.
  • Where would we meet?
We meet online in our HIPPA compliant virtual office
  • Who is your typical client?
I work with all genders and ages 18 and over.
  • How do would I pay for our sessions?
    Venmo, Paypal or Zelle
  • What’s the difference between a coach and a therapist?
While both coaches and therapists help people navigate challenges and improve their lives, they serve different roles and have different approaches. Here’s a breakdown: 1. Focus & Goals Therapist: Helps clients process past experiences, heal emotional wounds, and address mental health conditions. Therapy often focuses on resolving trauma, anxiety, depression, or other psychological concerns. Coach: Focuses on the present and future, helping clients set and achieve personal or professional goals. Coaching is action-oriented, emphasizing growth, mindset shifts, and strategies to move forward. 2. Methods & Techniques Therapist: Uses evidence-based psychological techniques (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR, psychodynamic therapy) to help clients work through emotions and thought patterns. Coach: Uses motivational techniques, goal-setting strategies, accountability, and practical exercises to help clients make progress. 3. Training & Licensing Therapist: Typically requires a master's or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, or social work and must be licensed in their state or country. Coach: Certification is available but not required. Coaches may be trained through programs like ICF (International Coaching Federation) or other professional organizations. 4. Relationship with Clients Therapist: Works with clients in a clinical or therapeutic setting, sometimes for an extended period, focusing on emotional and psychological well-being. Coach: Acts as a mentor or guide, helping clients gain clarity, set goals, and take action. 5. Can They Overlap? Yes! Some therapists incorporate coaching techniques, and some coaches (like grief coaches) work closely with emotions but do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
